                                                               United Solar Energy Supporters presents                                                                                                                        Benefits of Applying Agronomic Practices with Solar

Learn the concept of agronomy and the benefits that can be realized through the thoughtful use of agronomic practices. Real world examples will be shared to illustrate these benefits, including control of predatory insects, improvements to soil health, pollinator species, and water quality, and better management of increased storm severity. By the end of this webinar, you should be able to have a greater understanding of agronomic practices related to solar installations, and better able to work with other stakeholders to identify the best options for your community.

                                                                               PRESENTER: - Aaron DeJoia: Owner of Soil and Ecological Solutions

Mr. DeJoia is owner of Soil and Ecological Solutions and has over 20 years of consulting experience. He received both a B.S. and M.S. in agronomy and soil science from the Kansas State University. He is a North Dakota Licensed Professional Classifier, Certified Professional Soil Scientist and Certified Professional Agronomist based out of Monument, CO. Mr. DeJoia specializes in reclamation, vegetation and soil management strategies for large utility scale solar projects throughout the United States. Mr. DeJoia has an experienced understanding of farming communities, soil and agronomy, and how the construction process leads to projects that can economically achieve stakeholder objectives. Aaron received the distinguished Soil Science Society of America Presidential Award in 2020 for his service and commitment to the Soil Science Community.
